Diamond Employees - The work you do is amazing and reaches further than you know. This was recently shared with us from a former patient of The Farley Center:
“I pulled up on an accident last night and was able to get the person out of their car and performed CPR. Paramedics say I probably saved that person’s life. Who knows if I had been high if that person would still be alive. I have been thinking about that all night and it scares the hell out of me that someone could have died if I was messed up. We go through life never knowing when someone else’s life will depend on us being able to react correctly in a crisis situation. I think people need to know that not only does their life depend on them being sober but someone else’s may too and do you want that on your conscience?
Thank you again for saving my life so I could save that person's life. Just remember you do something great every day… you save lives every day. Don't ever lose track of that. If you do give me a call and I will remind you. Thank you again for everything you did for me and remember you are now also responsible for someone's life you never even met. That is a wonderful thing.”
